[Question] What would my best bet be if I want to deep fry but don't want to use oil heavy in Omega-6?

Not to turn this thread into a callout or /r/nutrition, but, yeah, no way you can smell the difference between an omega 6 and omega 3 FA.

Likewise, more beneficial to simply increase Omega 3 intake. An excerpt from Understanding Nutrition 12th Edition... "Because omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids compete for the same enzymes and their actions often oppose each other, researchers have studied whether there is an ideal ratio that best supports cardiovascular health. Suggested ratios range from 5:1 to 10:1, but little scientific evidence supports such recommendations.35 In fact, the emerging consensus is that the omega-6 to omega-3 ratio is of little value in improving health or predicting risk.36 Simply increasing the amount of omega-3 fatty acids in the diet is most beneficial.37 Reducing the amount of omega-6 fatty acids in the diet to “improve” the ratio is not beneficial, and could even be harmful.38
