questioning my faith

I used to have the same problem, but I found that God knowing everything and our ultimate decisions doesn’t take away the fact that we have free will. like we still need to go through the test at least you know. one analogy that solved this problem for me was - imagine a teacher knew what you were gonna get on your test so she didn’t even give you the sheet of paper. like it just doesn’t really make sense. it wouldn’t be just of God to just give us our ultimate destination heaven or hell (if that’s even a place) without letting us at least go through the test. also in islamic thought they believe in day of judgement, where they think god will judge everything you did in your life to see where you end up. it would just be weird if we just all lived through that day without even experiencing the test. idk it made sense to me. it’s not my problem i’m having with islam too. i’m interested to hear what you have to say though, i could be wrong. it just made sense to me lol
