Questions about academic integrity

That’s interesting. Since you’ve been on the board, what kind of evidence would be “clear and convincing?”

I’ve heard stories of people using screenshots from texts, facebook, social media as evidence, but given that those can easily be doctored, what’s the consensus?

Also, given that there were students who reported the cheating much later, did they report it years after the fact? Would the school even care to pursue an investigation if someone were to report, let’s say, cheating on an exam years after it happened with evidence like the ones I mentioned above?

I’ve always found it intriguing given that these cases tend to be lengthy processes, and if many years have gone by it makes me wonder whether something will be done or not. Only cases I’ve read about thus far have been with major publications like theses and dissertations
