Hi! Cis female, applied LGBTQ+. Didn’t notice anything during the admin process but I did get a couple “join the LGBTQ+ club” email invites after I had been admitted, which I did. It was SMALL lol and all men except me and one other girl, all cis. They became some of my best friends.

Probably helped my case that I checked the female box more than anything because my school was trying to hit gender parity the year I applied, which it did! There are a lot of straight white bro types in business school but they were all nice and supportive to me, probably because the emphasis is on building your network more than anything else. Don’t let being different hold you back from pursuing your dreams! Good luck. :)
