While I am really sad for Candance, it was honestly kind of stupid to confront a man that previously tried to kill her. I get that she was trying to save Love, but she knew what Joe was capable of and had clearly not even taken any self defense courses or done any real research on the Indie film maker occupation, which is how she was outed.

And then she literally had him trapped in a cage, and she called LOVE instead of the police to prove a point. It’s really just horrible luck that it was ultimately Love who ended her life and not Joe.

She didn’t deserve anything that happened to her but she also repeatedly put herself in really unsafe situations with a knowingly dangerous man.
