I totally understand, fair enough! My comment probably came across as very tone-deaf, I didn't read the others in the thread before I did. I would hope that construction could keep up with the influx of people, but it doesn't look like it – oof.

I hope things will improve, and I'm sorry for being so insensitive at first, I wasn't aware of the housing situation. I guess I would hope that people see the problem as less one of individuals (like I said, I don't have a lot of choices!) and more one of policies, like the ones the article I linked to mentioned.
