Questions about Pixel Blue College

For this type of career, school is almost a waste of time and money. Especially with covid restrictions you lose a big part of the social aspect/ gain I'd imagine.

You can make an amazing portfolio practicing at home and doing online tutorials. I'd save the money. Get an Edmonton Library card, you get free Lynda.com tutorial access (though they're like LinkedIn tutorials now or something? Got bought I guess) and ya go crazy on those tutorials to learn. Will probably be better training then pixel blue, granted I've never been! But I do work in a loosely related field. Honestly I'd consider dabbling in 3D as well, a lot more work in that area from what I've seen. 2D is even more niche and competitive in a sense (though all creative jobs are).
