Questions regarding college football and AAS

I played college ball didnt make it to the NFL but I tried like hell to get there, here is my opinion. Steroids exist in college but most college athletes are clean, I think you should be too. You are here for answers and this is a good place to find it but you have to understand that this subreddit has a bias, most of the people here are going to say go for it. If you do decide to go for it phillybj is probably spot on.

I'm going to suggest you rethink doing this at least for right now. College ball is going to be a shock for you it doesn't matter how good you think you are that first year is going to be brutal. There is probably a 50% chance you will be don't with the sport by next summer. If you make it through that first year you still probably will not make it to your senior year. I had close to 30 freshman In my recruiting class by senior year only 4 of us were standing(we had more than 4 seniors but the rest were juco transfers). Using PEDs right now might help you get through that first year, but your end goal is the pros so I would hold off for a lot of reasons. You want to get a better sense of how you stand compaired to your peers. Right now your a big fish in a city sized pond, in six months you will be a little fish in a pond the size of the United States. If you need steroids to be competitive in college you don't have what it takes to make it in the pros. The only way to find out if you can be competitive without PEDs is by showing up to camp clean, grinding it out spending a year in the weightroom with a great strength coach and then see how you match up during spring ball. If you are competitive in college while drug free odds are you still don't have what it takes to play in the pros, but you will have a trump card that you can play in the offseason after your senior year when that goal is closer to a reality and you have a peak performing and fully developed body.
