we started playing at the beginning of this league, so whats it been like a week or 2? personally i beat kitava a10 and finished the campaign solo. it took me 4 tries.. my first character died to dominus teaching me what the bleed mechanic is, my 2nd character got 1-shot by doedre in act 8, my 3rd character fell to innocence because it was scion trash, and just today i finished a10 at lvl 72 and started doing maps on my 4th character, duelist. all hardcore obviously. so i havent been having too much trouble. my buddy on the other hand has lost 2 characters to a4 piety, died to a couple act 1/2 elites and metamorphs, fell to merveil once, died to vaal oversoul eating the slam.. ive been trying to give a little steer to his builds and encouraging super heavy early defense like prioritizing life nodes capping res asap crafting life on your gear having mobility spells and utility pots and steelskin and decoy totem blah blah blah. i know its just him not really reacting to the telegraphs and shit, and ultimately there will be lots of times where he eats a bunch of damage. i cant really help him with that, so i guess what im wondering is if theres a way i can build my character that can really enable him to, lets say, get away with not playing perfect. aura support seems like something i could try but im guessing that doesnt really come online until farther in the game than we've been getting together anyway...
