I never cared for quests at all. In EQ I did only the quests for my epics. I didn't care to quest. After I left EQ for EQ2 then to WoW a year or two later. I did not do many quests in either EQ2 or WoW. I played a paladin and a mage in WoW through Cata at which time I left WoW and have not been gaming much since. In both EQ as a bard and later in WoW as a paladin and mage I enjoyed pulling large groups of mobs at a single time. This was not the main reason I played these games.

I loved mostly the uniqueness of the classes. In WoW that uniqueness faded and all classes in each trinity became just as capable of performing the same role. Before Cata a paladin had a niche role which was the tank healer in raiding and I loved that role. I was a great raid tank healer. I wasn't the best group healer, but I did well enough. Those specific roles were removed and I lost interest in WoW.
