Quick Note: Keto isn't for everyone.

I think one of the biggest reasons for the seemingly very low success rate of keto is the steep initial learning curb, not just willpower.

Imo, people don't take electrolytes because they don't know how body fluid retention works, people eat "cheat meals" (more like adaptation reversal meals) because they don't know keto adaptation or even entering ketosis takes time, people eat keto junk foods because they don't know somewhat easy keto recipes or what to eat to begin with. They just don't know.

You can still blame them for being too lazy to learn, but internet is full of contradicting information (e.g. keto causes heart disease!) and clever advertisements (e.g. bullet proof anything which is a waste of money), shit can be just way too overwhelming I don't blame confused beginners for their laziness.

The best thing you can do (which doesn't involve actual commitment like writing wiki articles) is sticking to the diet and prove the world keto is sustainable and health promoting. It's just an anecdote at first but science can't ignore it if the numbers go up.
