Quick provider question

Because its who I use and it makes sense given how Usenet is now?

You have a history of downplaying any criticism of Readnews/Highwinds services post acquisition. You were and continue to be extremely biased and your posts come off like astroturfing.

You became agitated and combative in 2014 when information was frequently conveyed about Highwinds acquisition of Readnews.

Sorry I didn't just believe some random guy on the internet.

Readnews website listed a Highwinds contact email. That information was shared publicly. The acquisition finalized in early May 2014, and there were many ways to verify. You turned a blind eye and made no attempt to verify, but made attempts to deny the acquisition.

You frequently downplayed information about Highwinds modification of Readnews takedown response time from roughly 24 hours down to less than 2-3 hours after a post.

I downplayed it because for me and many others who are automated it didn't make a difference. (Yes this is where you copy and paste your post about how fast the internet is in the country)

You are proving my point. Your responses are inconsistent, and imply you are engaging in astroturfing or damage control.

For the better part of six months you routinely downplayed the impact of fast automated takedowns when Highwinds/Readnews was the fastest by far.

More recently Highwinds adjusted its policies, which also benefit Readnew. A few times you have conveniently highlighted that Highwinds is slower than others. You're also claiming Giganews is faster than Highwinds, but no credible data or evidence from others has been presented to support your claims.

Your history displays a convenient form of bias toward supporting Highwinds.

You routinely downplay negative effects of Highwinds growing monopoly power and frequently try to ignore events that transpired in 2014.

I'm not downplaying and this may be hard for you to hear but I and others just don't care since things still continue as they were. Life goes on regardless.

Criticism is easily ignored when you have financial interests or other motivating factors.

Now that Highwinds has adjusted its policies to be marginally slower than an EU competitor, you routinely try to push Highwinds services in a positive light.

Right because correcting you and others who say they are the fastest is spinning in a positive light maybe it is but I can't spin the truth any particular way. They are slower than xsnews get over it. Actually you are butthurt because now you can't copy and paste how xsnews is so good with DMCA because now even highwinds is slower than them. Whatever will you do.

I am rather unbiased in my responses, whereas your responses continually show bias.

I thought takedown response time doesn't matter for you and anyone else because you're not effected? Now it's important? That's convenient.

To clarify, I do not work for XS News, XS News resellers, or have any financial ties to them.

Your posts imply you work for Highwinds, a reseller, or have financial ties in some form.
You certainly have not denied as much and your post history implies you do.

Highwinds vs. XS News

A few months ago, a user performed some tests, I confirmed his initial observations with rudimentary testing. For the past few months I have stated that Highwinds is now marginally slower than XS News. I convey this because it's true. The difference is marginal. It's not like the fall of 2014 when a large gap existed between those two providers. At that time Highwinds removed posts in as little as 90 minutes while XS News removed in roughly 24 hours. Now the difference between the two is a few hours
