How do I need to provide "sources" of your tone being antagonistic? How in the fuck does that even work?! Your tone is derisive and antagonistic. You've called me "buttmad," and ridiculed me. That's the part where you're attacking me. The other poster I've been conversing with started out by saying they thought I was mistaken, and explained why calmly. Every one of your replies has been needlessly antagonistic and unpleasant. That's what I mean by you "attacking" me. Do you disagree? Is this how you talk to your coworkers? Do you treat other people in your day to day life with the level of respect you're treating me? How do I give you a "source" that definitively explains that you're behaving in a way that's incredibly unpleasant and hard to respond to rationally?

Here's the thing. If you'd have said "you know, I think you're mistaken, and that you're confusing some terms here," I'd have responded to you a lot differently, as has been proven in the other conversation in this thread. Instead, you've literally replied to all my comments at once, using some pretty definitively provocative language in a way that's just unhelpful. I'm not attacking you for things that I'm posting, I'm replying to you in a manner that's annoyed at your behavior because you're replying to me like we're on fucking 4Chan. You think I'm an idiot for misunderstanding something, and instead of correcting me while speaking to me like I'm an adult, you've decided you'd belittle me and talk down to me. I've not been communicating as clearly with you as I am others, because this isn't a conversation. It's an argument. In an argument the other person becomes an opponent, not a partner, and the goal is to end it, not to understand one another. It's very, very clear you see this conversation the same way.

If you'd like it to become a discussion, that's up to you. Simply stop actively belittling me, and explain to me, simply, and respectfully, what you think I have wrong. I'll explain what I think to be correct, and why I think it, and after that possibly an understanding can be reached. However, it does not seem to be the case that you want that at all. It seems that you want to argue. Again, people don't use words like "buttmad" when they want to respectfully convey information. However, I'd love to be proven wrong. I'd love to not be bitched out. I'd love to talk to someone that has experience in a topic and learn about what mistakes I could be making. That's literally what's happening elsewhere in this thread. However, I'm not going to take in the information half as fucking well if I'm being insulted and mocked.
