Quick question about .22 lr ammo...

There are so many different brands and offerings of 22LR. The most common is labelled 'high velocity' then you also have some labeled 'semi -auto' which obviously would work fine in a revolver or bolt action and there is also 'pistol match' which works fine in any 22LR even when not involved in a competitive match. I have started to see some labeled 'bolt action' which is reported to cycle semi auto 22LR rifles just fine, but there are also 22LR 'quiet' and 'subsonic' loads which will fire just fine and not harm your rifle at all but you may have to manually cycle the bolt after every shot and the bullets will land in a slightly different place compared to high velocity ammo so you will have to account for that with your aiming or with sight adjustments.

This stuff is labeled as 'ideal for bolt action rifles' but appears to be standard pressure and weight so should cycle a 10/22 just fine:
