I'm still relatively new, at about 80 hours or so with 50 of that pure limbo. Bought the frame with plat and seriously sold me on Warframe.

He is an amazing frame for almost anything. The only thing is when your grouping you have to pay attention so you don't interfere with your team's enjoyment.

Early game it's really easy to just build range and duration and I think that's why he gets a bad rep. Stasis with cata limits everyone to melee and gets kind of boring for your group. I'll run with average range and duration with a rift torrent mod. Pop cata with no stasis then go rift surge for that sweet damage boost.

Or I'll just not use cata and take care of things in the rift after banish. I have Haven as well and need to remind players how to exit the rift but it's a nice little heal to save someone from going down.

Biggest thing is to just ask. "You guys mind if I run cata + stasis?" If no, do a different tactic. A decent weapon and a versatile build will let you adapt to anything.
