Quick question regarding Goldberg's streak.

PWT0rch (11th July 1998) Goldberg could be a draw on PPV like Mike Tyson was over the last decade. While customers won't give Goldberg's opponents a chance, they still will want to get together with friends and watch him win on PPV. But who are potential Goldberg PPV opponents? Kevin Nash, Bret Hart, Giant, Sting and Lex Luger in order of drawing potential. Rematches with Hogan could also draw. But that's it, and only three of them are actually heels. Goldberg is too dominant for anyone to take anyone else seriously as an opponent. If WCW has the patience to build those opponents properly that's not a bad list of six PPV opponents.

WCW Monday Nitro (10th August 1998) Goldberg vs. Meng in a nWo Lumberjack match. Hollywood Hogan hits Goldberg with a chair. Kevin Nash comes in, grabs the chair, & chases Hogan off. Goldberg gets up, thinks Nash hit him, & spears him.

WCW Monday Nitro (17th August 1998) Goldberg vs. The Giant. Scott Hall runs in to beat on Goldberg. Kevin Nash runs in, takes out Giant, & pulls Hall off of Goldberg. Goldberg goes to spear Hall, but he moves, & Goldberg ends up spearing Nash instead. Nash pops up, and gets in Goldberg's face.

WCW Monday Nitro (24th August 1998) Goldberg & Kevin Nash vs. Hollywood Hogan & The Giant. Nash went for the big boot, but Hogan moved and Nash caught Goldberg by mistake. Nash and Goldberg staring each other down as the show went off the air.

WCW Monday Nitro (31st August 1998) Goldberg vs. Al Greene. Kevin Nash joined Heenan & Schiavone on commentary. Nash said he’d love to get a WCW Title shot against Goldberg, but he wouldn't wrestle Goldberg for free. Green was Nash's tag team partner in the Master Blasters.

PWT0rch (26th September 1998) WCW has tentative plans to shift the title from Goldberg to Nash or from Goldberg to Hogan to Nash within the next six months.

WCW Monday Nitro (23rd November 1998) Kevin Nash vs. Wrath. Nash ends Wrath's undefeated streak.

PWT0rch (28th November 1998) Kevin Nash has more power now than ever. But Eric Bischoff hasn't decided yet that Nash should get all of the power. Nash is part of a loosely organized "creative team" that has no central authority figure, differing agendas, no credibility with the wrestlers & a history of lacking any organization.

PWT0rch (12th December 1998) During Kevin Nash's first meeting as apart of the booking committee after Hogan "retired" on 23rd November, members of the booking committee (Terry Taylor, Kevin Sullivan, Dusty Rhodes) proposed the idea to Nash that they hot-shot a match later that night on Nitro where Nash would beat Goldberg for the WCW Title. Nash asked if they had learned anything from the Goldberg vs. Hogan match, which drew a monster rating but didn't lead to any sustained ratings success.

Starrcade (27th December 1998) Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash. Draws 3rd highest PPV buyrate in WCW history (behind Starrcade 1997 & Bash at the Beach 1998).
