Quick Questions on Private Labeling

1. When starting a brand new item on Amazon, what is a good way to start generating sales since I do not have any reviews? Can I send out 10-15 in exchange for reviews or would that be immoral or against their rules?
* Friends & family. * Facebook review groups. * For a non-trivial amount ($$$), there are sites that will assist with product launches.

2a. What is a good way to add my logo to a plain white 3x3x1 box?
* Contact a paper or packaging company and get a quote. "I need 100 boxes, with this design (you provide this to them), and these size specifications. How much will it cost?" * Have your logo printed on stickers (large or small) and apply them to plain packaging yourself. 2b. Should I look into a custom stamp, or maybe stickers I place onto the box?
* Both viable options. This decision all depends on what is aesthetically pleasing to you; if you're happy with it and its within your packaging budget, then go for it.

3a. Does adding my logo to the packaging, but not the item itself, make it a private label product still?
* Sure.
3b. Can others sell under my listing without having my logos on their product or packaging?
* If the only differentiator between your product and others is an image/logo on some packaging, then expect to be copied. You need something to set your product apart from others.

4a. Does FBA makes sense to start if I exepct sales to be slow? Should I maybe send in 10 or so for now, and see how it goes? Say I have 25 products to start, should I send half into FBA and keep half for my own sales through other channels like Instagram, My Site, and Ebay?
* This is all up to you. If you want to have some inventory on-hand for your other eCommerce ventures, then don't send everything in.
