Quit looking for the “Silver Bullet”

Youtube hate is just instructors' anxiety about their students games improving through sources other than themselves.

Fortunately, there's a cure for youtube hate: When your student starts hitting a new technique they learned from someone other than you, simply wait a few months until the wound/memory isn't as fresh and then start claiming the move is something you taught them. I know it works because my instructor loves to use me as an example when trying to sell privates ("look how good u/casfightsports got after he took a few privates with me") any time I hit a sweep I am 100% certain I got from a Ryan Hall instructional (which he swears he taught me).
