From what you described, this guy is a living nightmare and terrorized your whole former team. If you really do love your job, you owe it to your employer and your co-workers to fully share what happened with this guy. He’s likely in a probationary period, so they can can him for whatever reason. Do not think he’ll be any different now. He may play nice until the probation is over, but then his true colors will emerge once again. Guaranteed.
You do not deserve to go through this hell again, and neither do your co-workers. Share everything with HR. Right now. All of it with your documentation.
