What would you say the spread in damage is between different players on the various classes? I think we can agree the spread is quite thin and they’re more similar, right? That’s a function of the lack of customization.

So you take that narrow spread from lack of customization, the pointless open world that doesn’t even provide rare drops (I’m aware of the FATE thing). The lack of PvP, I mean what are the reasons to play the game? THAT being said: I will give it to FFXIV community that people are nice. Putting in PVP and grinding + customization will draw in douchebags like me. If they do decide to put PVP in the open world and fix their equipment/materia, they should definitely make a new server and allow existing players to transfer into, but not out of (to keep the toxic people away from their happy emote dancing community).
