Now, stopping the Sun in the sky can only mean stopping the Earth from rotating. (Unless you do actually subscribe to the geocentric model?)

Imagine if the Earth just suddenly stopped rotating. Everything that wasn’t on one of the poles would just fly out into the atmosphere. Now, if that is the case, why hasn’t this been documented anywhere? It’s such a big worldwide event that it would surely be documented somewhere...
