/r/AsianParentStories is as bad as, if not worse, than /r/AA

I'm a little mixed on that sub. Because honestly even if today I have a really good relationship with my parents, I do have to admit that at least in my high school days and my 1st year in college, I could see myself being a poster on there. I definitely abhor the kids who would go as far as to just abandon Asianness and adopt whiteness, but at the same time looking back at high school many of the Channish kids were like that. It really just brings up the idea of the future of Asian America. Because the culture in general, not just Confucianism, but even the non-Confucian Asian countries like Thailand and Philippines still have values like filiel piety and saving face that are diametrically opposed to American culture. No surprise it's why the Asian community has been so weak compared to other more organized communities like African Americans and Hispanics. Just look at that video of that Chinese driving instructor in Toronto who taped on his dashboard a video of an elderly Asian man being harassed by a white supremacist. He chose not to fight and on his youtube channel he justified his cowardice by bringing up all this nonsense of peace and love. That stuff has made us the lowest caste of Western society, so while there are some cultural aspects we should keep such as hard work and family, we have to get rid of things like peace and love because Western society does not value peace and love.
