Ten thousand readers sure but forums like Astrodienst, Skyscript and Astrologyweekly are WAY SUPERIOR. Closer to home is /r/occult, they are better equipped even though they aren't an astrology sub.

Reading this subreddit is depressing, here people are still debating on the validity of astrology and dwelling on sun signs while the other forums are locating missing objects and money, predicting career and legal issues and politics and doing many other miracles since years ago.

Yes, astrology can find missing objects. I do it all the time. 100% accuracy if you're good with puzzles. It's called 'horary'. Horary can answer a lot of things, but it is RARELY mentioned here. It's one of the most interesting and convincing aspect of astrology.

Worse, I don't recall people here debating popular astrological topics like house system or the water triplicity ruler here or LGBT indicators in the natal chart or even the morality of predicting death. It's like everyone is just parroting "I'm a Virgo but I'm not nitpicky! So is astrology bonkers?" or "What is your ascendant?" or "Describe me!!!"

I've also never seen people cite Ptolemy or Wiliam Lily here. Or even Liz Green who isn't ancient like the aforementioned. Nobody mentions book recommendations. No nothing.

This subreddit is not dead, it's a zombie that keeps mumbling nonsense. Astrology is mad, sure, but it has a method. There is a lot of maths is astrology. Astrology has been around since ancient times, it withstand-ed the test of time for a reason.

Also, I don't know WHY astrology works, but it just does. I gave up on answering the science behind astrology, I just work with it because it's useful. Everybody is so busy on asking why that they miss the opportunity to change your life with it.
