/r/Atlanta Random Daily Discussion - December 16, 2019

I made a million cookies over the weekend to send to out-of-state family, since we won't be seeing any of them for Christmas this year. I've never been great at "pretty" so the presentation is lacking, but they are all delicious and hopefully they keep well in the mail. I'm also sending a box to my BFF's family, which is a little intimidating because she's an actual pastry chef and my shit is suuuuper amateur, but she is always very gracious and I'm sure she'll appreciate it nonetheless. It was a lot of work to get everything together but at least my husband is dealing with mailing them today, better him than me >:)

Tell me, /r/atlanta. Is there anything to do in the city on Christmas? This is the first year in the 11 years that I've lived here that I'm spending Christmas at my own dang house rather than travelling hundreds of miles away, so I really don't know - is everything closed? Obviously staying at home in my yoga pants and marathoning Harry Potter is obviously an option, but looking for stuff to do in the greater metro area too. Suggestions welcome!
