r/audiophile Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk Thread

Hey everyone first post here,

I apologize in advance if I say stupid or wrong things because I'm in no shape or form able to call myself an audiophile.

My question would be if you guys could help me put together a good surround system (if that's what it is called)

In the picture I'm about to link you can see my tv setup and I was thinking about a soundbar as tower speakers sadly wouldn't fit. I've seen alot of soundbar but I have no clue wth 5.1 is or 2.1 all I know is that I want my sound to be amazing.

My goal is to achieve what a good headset can do as I use my TV mainly for gaming. Meaning I'd love if thetese a possibility for instance to hear gunshots from the side or behind me, to my left etc.......

I've seen some rear speakers such as the Samsung swa-9500s which can connect to a soundbar from Samsung? Really don't know

I'd really love to have a soundbar infront of my TV and some speakers behind which give off those amazing effects.

To me the most important part would be if there are as little wires as possible and if the rear speakers could be wireless too.

Price range would be about a 1000 bucks I'd be willing to spend.

Thank you all so much in advance and I again apologize for having such little knowledge about this.
