r/baseball in issues ejections while the subreddit has an opening day weekend debate about security guard brutality

Ice hockey arenas are designed to make it impossible for spectators to climb into the ring and it doesn't diminish people's enjoyment of the sport.

Football fields uhh... Soccer fields have enough buffer in between the spectators and the players that pitch invaders can be chased down without resulting in concussing the pitch invader and several broken ribs. Let alone just a guy kneeling down proposing to his girlfriend.

Yes it's entirely possible to design stadiums that protect the spectators and the players. Pitch invasion is not unique to baseball, it has been known to happen and there are plenty of reasonable solutions that don't involve unnecessary violence.
