/r/BravoRealHousewives daily OT thread. Today is February 18, 2019

My post about Lisa Rinna and the Harry Hamlin rape allegations was removed for being a duplicate post. Someone in the comments mentioned that this was brought up as recently as a week ago but didn't link to a post. Someone linked to a post about the allegations from 6 months ago. Does anyone know what the time limit is on "duplicate" posts?

We all watch the show at different times. I realize that duplicate posts are annoying but I don't think that mods realize that we don't all watch the show at the same time. Some of us haven't seen every single episode or didn't watch the show when it originally aired. I was asking for context in my post because I wanted some clarity on the allegations. Maybe it was because I mentioned the Amsterdam episodes and someone posted about those a week ago? My post wasn't limited to the Amsterdam episodes. I messaged the mod but haven't received a reply.

I see duplicate posts about certain HWs removed quickly but others are left up for days and it's usually when everyone is having a field day bashing a HW (see numerous posts about KZB, Kenya, etc.)

This sub used to feel like one of the most welcoming on reddit but lately I feel like the content is being held to a standard that doesn't welcome discussion. Heaven forbid we have an opinion about a past episode or ask something that has been asked before. Are we not allowed to have an opinion if we didn't see the episode when it aired? The gate keeping is real... Honestly, would it hurt to link to the duplicate post before removing it? Or maybe keep the post up, lock the comments and direct the new comments to the old post?
