r/CCJ2 user asking why there are so many female expat in South Korea and not liking that there with local guys

I was repulsed by the white exchange students both male and female when I studied abroad in Korea. So many fans there specifically to try to date Koreans. One white gay guy I met had a strange fetish for korean guys. He also made strange comments like Japanese guys are ugly and kept bragging about his past exes who were asian dudes(all who were below average looking to me). One of his exes was a hapa. I’m also gay and this guy really repulsed me. He even admitted to hooking up with a high school dropout(pedo much?). I honestly should’ve reported his ass but I met the guy he hooked up and it was consensual so I decided not too especially since he was closeted. These koreaboos studied abroad in various different cities in Korea, and honestly I feel went just to date Koreans(to be clear this social circle were both male and female gay and straight). His whole social circle were obnoxious koreaboos that I wanted nothing to do with. I honestly was shocked I ran into such weird people. Really the Korean wave is I think a net negative. Sure maybe people might think I’m more desirable because I’m half Korean but I sure as hell don’t want to date a koreaboo. What sucks too is the gay community in Korea is very underground and most Korean gay guys want to only date other full Koreans or are white worshippers(although Korean American or third culture gay Korean guys seem more open minded to me). Personally when I studied abroad I preferred the company of Asian Americans specifically Korean Americans. I just felt a close culture connection. I avoided the Asian Americans who were koreaboos though.
