/r/CFB Interview Series: Texas A&M feat. UAB and William & Mary

What is the best video/article/web page that involves your team this off season?

anything but texags

Where is the best place to eat/hangout on Gameday?

general consensus would be the Dixie Chicken. I actually never went there on game day but i'm sure it's a blast. I would typically just tailgate all day

What is your favorite tradition surrounding your team?

idk I did like some of the coordinated yells we did. I wasn't super involved in the traditions but a lot of the energy stemming from the student body's buy-in to those traditions were what made football games so fun

Who is the player to watch on your team this season?

I don't think I'm surprising anyone when I say Myles Garrett. Kyle Allen, Daeshon Hall, Josh Reynolds, Christian Kirk, Ricky Seals-Jones, Armani Watts, James White, Otaro Alaka, etc. are some other big names but I think Garrett's gonna be the guy to watch

Who is a player that has the most potential to have a breakout year?

Pick any one of those dudes i listed in the previous answer

Who will be your highest NFL draft pick this season? Where do you see him going?

Mike Matthews will probably be like a 3rd rounder i'm guessing. If Brandon Williams plays super well he could be taken somewhat early with his freakish athleticism and his DB measurables

Who is the opponent that scares you the most this season? Why? Which opponent scares you the least? Why?

Right now it's ASU for obvious reasons. But i think overall it's Ole Miss just because I have no idea what to expect. I know we'll be facing a crazy defense but if their offense clicks they'll be stupid good. Miss. State and SCAR scare me as well...they're both not getting a lot of respect right now, but both could surprise some people with continued success (MSU) or a Spurrier-led resurgence (SCAR). Obviously Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, and LSU are scary, but those are games I know will be intense. The others are a mystery which freaks me out

Is this team a bowl team? A conference championship team? A national championship team?

Bowl team, but a pretty good bowl team. I'm seeing an 8 or 9-win reg season outcome. We won't be contenders this seasons i dont think but next season we definitely have a shot

Which game defines your teams season?

Auburn. I think the streak of the away team winning in that SEC matchup ends this season. I think they come in ranked highly and we ultimately win that game to inspire some confidence after having a bumpy middle-of-the-season stretch (we're definitely going to lose at least two of these: Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss. St, Bama, SCAR)
