/r/CFB Interview Series: Ohio State feat. UCF and Montana

  1. What is the best video/article/web page that involves your team this off season?

While not specific to just tOSU ESPN’s “Who’s In?” commercial gets me fired up every time. If we’re going for just the Buckeyes “Against All Odds” is an awesome recap of the magic that was last season.

  1. Where is the best place to eat/hangout on Gameday?

Having not yet been to a game myself (fear not I’ve got those sweet freshman student tickets) I don’t quite feel qualified to answer this question. But there’s plenty of food on High Street, specifically Eddie George’s seems to get good reviews.

  1. What is your favorite tradition surrounding your team?

The Incomparable Script Ohio really the whole pregame from the band is awesome. Close second is singing “Carmen Ohio after a game, this one might move up once I’ve actually been to a game and partaken of it but we’ll see.

  1. Who is the player to watch on your team this season?

It’s really hard to choose just one, but I’m going with #15 Ezekiel Elliott. He had a good season last year and an AMAZING post-season. As long as he stays healthy and gets a good number of touches, the sky really is the limit for him this year.

  1. Who is a player that has the most potential to have a breakout year?

1 Braxton Miller. Not so much in the sense of him being an unknown player (you’d have to be trying to have not heard of him by now) but in the sense that he has so much potential at his new position. Not to beat the dead horse but the man is an athlete and as the season goes on and he gets more accustomed to the new position I think we’ll be seeing explosive plays on the regular from him once again.

  1. Who will be your highest NFL draft pick this season? Where do you see him going?

I’m not much of a follower of the NFL or the draft, but I’ve heard high expectations for Joey Bosa which seems reasonable.

  1. Who is the opponent that scares you the most this season? Why?

Michigan State. This game is the de facto B1G championship, and while we are heavily favored and get them at home they are still a very good team. We’re not yet two years removed from the disappointment that was 2013’s game against them and while we’ve certainly improved since them I still see Sparty as our biggest hurdle to overcome this season.

  1. Which opponent scares you the least? Why?

Hawaii. First game of the year in the Shoe, as defending National Champs, with 105k packed in to celebrate it, and knock on wood riding a wave of sweet, sweet vengeance from week 1. No offense to the Rainbow Warriors but this game is practically in the bag.

  1. Is this team a bowl team? A conference championship team? A national championship team? I don’t want to get cocky, I really don’t, but this team is in for an amazing season. Yes we are a conference championship team. Yes we are a playoff team. Yes we are a National Championship team. If we can avoid complacency, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish this year.

  2. Which game defines your teams season?

Always has been and always will be The Game. Sure I’d like for us to repeat as National Champs, sure I’d like for us to win the B1G, sure I’d like for us to go undefeated. But above all else, I want us to beat That Tea* Up North.
