Hello! I am finally going for a WC which might be pulled off but I´m running into trouble. However I just got another break.
Basically I´m orthodox Ottomans and got a PU with France for free around 1600. Now it´s 1689 and I also got a PU with Commonwealth for free!!! I got an alliance with Castile and Bahmanis.
So now noone can challenge me I guess. I´m however lacking sorely in MPs, -15% behind on Diplo and Adm tech. Can´t hire +3 advisors due to going into deficit at 100% maintenance. Four loans which have snowballed into about 8000 ducats.
So how to proceed? How do I get my economy and MP points on level? Also at 39% penalty for manufactories but dont want to take another 2 loans to pay the 4.5k required for it.
This is my current map. Lacking half of europe, india and africa and then east asia, plan on stealing the colonies from portugal, castile and england. Is WC still possible? 1694 atm.
Basically I am running at a deficit when at full maintenance despite controlling all major trade nodes in Europe.
