The /r/Guildwars2 Let's Create an Elite Specialization Thread ( Day 4: Slot Skills )

First I'd like to say that this looks like a fun idea. Secondly I'd also like to take this time to say that I, in no way, enjoy playing a thief. With that's being said, let's create some skills.

I thought to myself, what if the thief had a bit more "assassin" in them. To that end, I decided that the mantra should be it's new skill type. The mantra is used for concentration, in this case to be a better thief assassin.

Healing:

# Skill Type Act. Cd Description
6 Way of Perfection Mantra 2s 20s For 5 seconds, you heal yourself for each critical strike you land. (Plus a small flat heal). Contains 2 charges.

Utility:

# Skill Type Act. Cd Description
7 Way of the Fox Mantra 3s 30s Your attacks become unblockable for 3 seconds. Contains 2 charges.
8 Way of the Empty Palm Mantra 3s 60s Your next dodge uses no endurance. Contains 2 charges. Charge used upon dodge activation.
9 Way of the Master Mantra 3s 30s Gain an increase to power, precision and ferocity for 3 seconds. Contains 2 charges.
10 Way of the Lotus Mantra 3s 30s Your next Dual Wield skill returns initiative instead of uses it. Contains 2 charges.

Elite:

# Skill Type Act. Cd Description
11 Way of the Assassin Mantra 3s 90s While wielding a pistol in your main hand, double your power for 2 seconds. While wielding a dagger in your main hand, double your ferocity for 2 seconds. While wielding a sword in your main hand, double your precision for 2 seconds. While wielding a shortbow, double your condition duration for 2 seconds. Contains 2 charges.

If you haven't guessed it yet, all these skills are indeed throwbacks to the assassin of the original Guild Wars. I think Way of the Assassin might be too much, but it can always be tweaked. If you swap weapons while Way of the Assassin is active (ie within the 2 seconds of activating a charge), the bonus will apply to the new weapon type and the old bonus will no longer be valid. The gain on Way of the Master I was thinking would be about 75% of what you'd normally gain for a signet passive. I tried to make these skills be primarily used for offensive purposes as I wanted to push the thief into an assassin. I realize that Way of the Lotus really only works while dual wielding, but perhaps I'll think of an alternate clause for a two handed weapon. But since the "chosen" weapon for this elite spec was an offhand, I thought it went well with that theme.
