I never said it remove crime but reduces it. Crime rates may have dropped globally but crimes such as homicides saw a much larger drop after laws were changed. These laws didn't effect every country at once so the numbers dropping after a country put in these laws isn't just some coincidence. So one country saying it has strict laws but still having rampant crime proves it doesn't work instead of the overwhelming amount that show it does work. Then all the countries that have no gun laws and have insane murder rates proves legalizing guns is a terrible idea. The point about mass shootings was that it was something more common and the change of the law had a massive impact on it's frequency.
