God, that thread is just an absolute mess.

The people there are literally referring to trans people as freaks and degenerates. And then they have the fucking gal to act shocked when they're called out for being a bunch of hateful bigots.

And don't get me started on the idiots there who try to argue that being trans is a mental illness because of the high number of trans people who are on the spectrum. Why is it so impossible for people to understand that correlation does not imply causation? The reason for it is that people who are on the spectrum generally feel much less of a need to adhere to societal expectations. What use is there to pretend to be cis or straight when you already feel like an outsider? But of course, they don't actually care about that. They're just using it as justification to further hurt and bully trans people. That's all it is for them. Truly disgusting behavior.
