Good for you. Meeting someone from the virtual can be daunting, exciting and doki doki for some and I am glad that you tried doing something from your comfort zone.

At least from my experience, the first time I met someone online was from tinder and thank goodness nothing came out of that. I am still thinking of our super awkward goodbye! Other than that, I guess it has been business related like I need to do COD. One customer I met, Lim was probably the most friendly person and a friend I have met from Carousell,lol! We met at mamak and continue talking about 2 hours about hobbies and business stuffs and still talking till now.

The most impactful of all was meeting my significant other from this creepy app called Chatango. Thank god he is a nice person. Worried at first if whatever we had virtually would translate well in reality, glad it did and neither of us catfish each other so great! Lol.

I am also planning to meet my reddit gal whom I knew as we were both joined the same subreddit. She is so kawaii, very friendly, kind and overall a beautiful soul; aaaaaa making friends with girls makes me feel so nervous, hopefully I wont make a fool out of myself when we first see each other!
