I'm disabled and looking for help finding a keyboard that I can use without so much pain.

I've identified a few key things that help me deal with my nerves deteriorating.

  1. Audible switch feedback so I can hear what I can't feel anymore.

  2. Light-ish switches. Kalih Blues seem ok

  3. Split design

  4. Dedicated buttons - Layering can easily pose an insurmountable challenge for me. Don't want a numpad though. Prefer to have that separate.

  5. Short key travel would be a HUGE boon too.

I can still solder things together if I take my time and I can flash micros, then even edit the code a smidge if needed. So that should open some options. Unfortunately I'm on a fixed income so cost is a driving factor though.

Any suggestions on what to look at?
