r/NFL "Am I Crazy" Opinions

1) Jarvis Landry is a wildly overrated receiver. Both the film and metrics dont like him. Dolphins are 5-17 when he gets 10+ targets a game and no that isnt the trend for other high end receivers FO did a study on it. Matt Harmon in his film study in his project reception perception has highlighted how Landry is below average at getting separation vs man coverage, is useless on routes beyond 12-15 yards and in general struggles to get real separation consistently.

2) The Matt Stafford MVP talk last year was comical....he was hte 3rd best QB in his own division

3) The Skins will miss DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon alot more than they think. Both those guys especially Jackson can really play and were honestly held back by Cousins limitations

4) Not all that much changed from Matt Ryan last year than what he was from 2008-14; his supporting cast was just exceptional and Kyle Shanahan was absolutely brilliant. Ryan frankly didnt play at a level of an Aaron Rodgers last year people suggesting that cant separate team passing stats from actually isolating QB play itself.

5) I think the Vikings have a real chance at being an SB contender. Sam Bradford is generally alot better than his reputation, that was a top defense before injuries last season and I like their skill position talent better than most. Just like the Seahawks their biggest obstacle will be how they can overcome that trash offensive line but I think they have a chance to and have a really good year.
