/r/nothingeverhappens turns into /r/thatHappened when discussing hate crimes

subscriber of r/nothingeverhappens here and i would really love to believe that this guy wouldn't lie about this happening to him. I don't have enough evidence either way to come to a conclusion at this point. But his story does seem fishy, and I'm a total optimist who wants to believe everyone. I don't think that having this post on NEH with responses debating the validity of the story means its turning into r/thathappened. NEH is a lovely place for the most part where people give others the benefit of the doubt, but that doesn't mean that no one is allowed to doubt anything over there. If we believed EVERYTHING without question it would be just as bad as disbelieving everything without question.
