r/Republican grapples with why there is a lot of negativity towards the US on Reddit. Could it be liberal indoctrination? Jealous Europeans? Probably all of the above since America is perfect.

Hooollly shit you can, and if you're under 21 you're even more fucked. Hell, I live below a bar right? The bar's in a public square. When COVID hit the bar asked for and received permission to use the square for its business. I'm getting hustled off public benches in what is basically my friend yard so this bar can make money. So now I can't sit there quietly doing nothing because that's effectively illegal, i can't buy a cheap can of beer someplace else and sit there because that's illegal, i can't roll a god damn joint and go down there and smoke it cause that's illegal. I can by a $13 cocktail to use the bench or I can fuck off. Wanna know what happened when I complained? "Why are you being a horrible person and trying to take away people's livelihood's"? Believe me, so much shit is illegal here, and if you scratch the surface just a little you tend see it's because someone needs to get paid. If you're doing something that doesn't cost any money the odds are good it's illegal
