Yes, they do. It's a feminist fight on 2 levels:

  1. To some people, those jobs I mentioned are "traditionally" women's jobs. From a feminist perspective, jobs shouldn't be gendered.

  2. Some men do look down on men who do those jobs because the former think that they're "women's" jobs and somehow it makes a man less of a man if he does them. Such emasculation comes from a place that values "women's" work less than "men's" work. In contrast, when a women does "men's" work, (in the past) she's seen as stepping out of her place because she's not "fit" to do it. Both scenarios are two sides of the same coin - the devaluation of women and femininity.
