I will be keen to explore co-renting a place together if the opportunity arises :) I'm an introvert who also places alot of emphasis on my privacy.

Renting experience was ok. Just didn't like the uncertainty of having to move out when landlord decides to sell the place. having to let people come and view the apartment whilst I'm still paying for rent etc.

The upside to renting is I am able to stay in a condo, observe the neighbors and determine if it's somewhere I can see myself living in permanently rather than buying a place and going in blind.

Main reason I wanna buy my own place is because I want to have more autonomy and control over the decorations and design of the place. Ideally that will be the place I live till I die or move away from SG to retire in TW / MY.
