im assuming u hav abit of interest alr so jus watch simple vids abt the basics on youtube to get a rough idea of how things work.

next go find a nearby neighbourhood court n just start practising. at the start may seem intimidating n insecure practising as a noob, so maybe can find time/place to practise when not crowded. for "crowded" courts most of the time regular zaikias will be playing so abit hard to train, best to share court wif recreation ppl/kids. crowds r usually at night after 7. less crowd/more recreation ppl usually weekend mornings.

nevertheless most ppl are generally q friendly n welcoming one. ur probably a ger so may feel more comfortable perhaps interacting n asking tips from fellow girls. ik toa payoh courts always got some ladies play. can always make frens wif the players in yr neighbourhood and learn from them. but if u wan contact of female baller can pm me. atb
