Hi! I'm wondering the best way/if it's possible to run an external server for Steam? I have a so-so laptop that I use for my easy gaming like Don't Starve and Stardew. However I have now built a server to use for gaming. I'd prefer to keep Steam on my portable laptop and just run the more intensive games like Just Cause 4 and the VR games on the server. Would something like this be possible? I tried Googling a solution but haven't been able to find much information. My brother suggested to connect the server as an external hard drive to my laptop but as it's a server and not a hard drive I'm not sure the best way to go about that/if there may be a better way to do it. Any advice appreciated! If you have a similar set up I'd love to know what you did. Thanks!
