Since I haven't used my Steam account for a while, I have forgotten my password. My fault, I know, but that's the situation I'm in. So I've tried going resetting my password, and I've tried creating a new account. Whatever I try, the captcha says that my response appears to be invalid, with the reference ID 4295881441246864563. Here is a list of things I have tried to access my account.
- Turned off VPN
- In google chrome allowed all cookies and cleared browser cache
- Tried logging in on google chrome, safari, and the desktop steam app
- Tried logging in on incognito mode on google chrome
- Tried logging in on my phone with wi-fi connection turned off in both app and browser
I’m not sure what I should do at this point. Steam support hasn’t been any help either, since it just redirects me to the same page I’ve been going to the whole time.
For reference, my laptop is a Macbook Air. I'm not very technically adept but this is the information it gives in "About this Mac":
