Take a rally, you have Richard Spencer and a dozen other guys. They are recording everything with their phones waiting for something to happen so they can say “we were right! It’s what we said! We’re being attacked for our views blah blah blah” - and then the media shows up , then the counter protestors, and then you have a fucking circus with Richard Spencer as the star in the center, punched or not. So instead of him and a dozen sad pieces of shit standing in a street with nobody giving a fuck, you gave him exactly what he wanted, a media circus and millions of likes and comments and shares on social media.
