Why is /r/videos so racist

Well I don't know if you sort your comments by controversial or something, but if I believed reddit was as terrible as you claim, I wouldn't be on it, and I wouldn't be defending it.

I sort by bext like most people; and yes you would, and are.

Do you really think the general populace of reddit had any support for Walter Scott's killer? I mean, you could claim that they're upset because of police brutality and not because a black man was killed, but I still think they'd be upset if this came to light in a George Zimmerman-esque scenario and the man wasn't a police officer.

I never said that, I asked you to define self defense in that context. And yes I firmly believe this was a case of "fuck the police" more than "I believe black people now when they lament on racist justice" because a week later they're justifying a black man having a busted spine in police custody with "he shouldn't have broken the law".

Really, I think you're being a little too generous with your white-supremacist boogeyman. I don't perform background checks on the posters whose content I upvote, if it piques my interest I'll click it up and be on my way. You also don't think members of those shithole subreddits brigade each other's posts so they can get anti-black sentiment to the front page?

None of the white supremacist subs have enough active membets to upvote racist posts and comments daily. It's not a boogeyman, it's quite factual. White supremacists post content and get upvoted by reddit. You're the only one in denial here.

No. No they are not. An ignorant person in this case would be someone who only sees the side of the argument they are presented. A racist sees both and chooses to reject one out of spite.

That's why the igniratnt ones upvote both sides in the comments, right? That's why we see just as many front page posts condemning the racism as racist ones, right? Oh, the exact opposite happens.

You're right. Bad comparison? Nah, bad me. Point still stands that I don't believe the general populace of reddit endorses 'justified' genocide, and I don't believe they would do such a thing given the opportunity themselves.

It's not genocide, genocide has a specific definition. Killing? Yeah, sure. They say they do, so I don't doubt them.
