Quite honestly man, I am terrible at remembering even one day old arguments\beefs\battles. I have really piss poor short term memory and I'm sure you can guess why that is. In my case, in this example, I think that is a good thing because I sincerely think life is just too short to hold on to Internet forum anger for too long. If you think about it, we really don't know each other at all so it should be that way. You shouldn't have the ability to hurt or piss me off, and vise versa, we are just to insignificant of a presence in our own real lives for that.
When it comes to users like you and mki401 who I have ongoing battles with there's good days and bad days and I try to look at the big picture instead (what good topics you bring/good points/etc) vs what you said last week about me. I forget about the petty beefs very quickly when you guys drop knowledge because when I agree with a good point, that trumps old angst.
That pisses off people too BTW, when I'm not still mad or when I can't even remember them when they are mad at me for dissing a band they liked a month ago, and I totally forget ever saying anything until threads like this come up and then it's seen as opportunity to revisit old arguments and pile on more of it.
I don't hold grudges very long because I either don't care and want to forget, or I just genuinely forget. I'm a one day at a time guy, that's just how I am. I'd rather move on than carry all that around.
There's a few people on here I used to battle with regularly due to disagreements, opinions, beefs that went on far too long, but then one day it seems like we both kind of snap out of it out of mutual respect for the overall knowledge we both bring. Now I consider those once agitating people close friends. I can name about 5 people here who used to love getting into arguments here and now I respect them for getting thru that truly pointless bullshit and finally being able to see eye to eye. I won't name names, but you know who you are, and I think that's a pretty cool thing.
I hope that you and I can see eye to eye more often, I feel like we can joke about shit a little more than even last month and agree more and even disagree better so hopefully that continues. I won't be friends with everyone but for the most part I respect you and what you bring to the table and that's a start. Same with mki401, when he's on point, he's on point and I respect that even though I'm supposed to be arguing with him because that's what we take too far, but I try to look at the big picture whenever possible.
