Are you aware that from the beginning of the colonies all the way to the ending of slavery there existed free blacks in the America's and some even owned slaves themselves in the southern states. Im not asking to try an be a dick or deflect our shared cultural responsibility for slavery but a good portion of woke POC make statements like the one OP has done above and it alienates otherwise empathetic wp who aren't racists. the phenomenon of human beings enslaving other human beings goes back tens of thousands of years, but not just among blacks, and not just in Africa.
