Im not asking to try an be a dick or deflect our shared cultural responsibility for slavery but a good portion of woke POC make statements like the one OP has done above and it alienates otherwise empathetic wp who aren't racists. the phenomenon of human beings enslaving other human beings goes back tens of thousands of years, but not just among blacks, and not just in Africa.
