LIkely not - I agree. But the calls for them to liberate us from our opressive government were getting quite loud and getitng louder and half their country votes for the party spewing that opinion.

The US is one eloquent wingnut leader away from being a Russian-style state. I'm not saying they ARE but they certainly have their fair amount of people who view the American way as the only way around the world and they meddle in a lot of countries by war and other means, non stop. It's a lot more precarious than you might realize as far as them heading down a dark path.

I'm not anti-american - I love it there been there hundreds of times as most Canadians have.
