With how the current situation looks and without RU doing the "Kherson maneuvers" - no chance.

UAF were close to the city for eight years now, the frontline hasn't really moved in that area so both sides had plenty of time to dig up and build defenses.

After the conflict was frozen Ukraine hadn't attempted to push into Donetsk and it would be a mistake to try to take a big city head on. Russians on the other hand don't stop their attempts to push UA further away from the city (Advdiivka and Mar'yinka) and they do get some small gains here and there at the massive cost and destruction of the cities - Mar'yinka is pretty much leveled at this point and Avdiivka gets shelled daily.
